The ministries was founded in the city of San Sebastian Puerto Rico U.S.A. and incorporated the august 20, 1997 with the Registration # 30,388-SF as a domestic non-profit corporation, we started in the Municipality Hospital with the first chaplaincy office assisting the personnel and the patients 24/7. After that we opened chaplaincy offices with homeless shelters, clinics, drug rehabilitation programs, elderly homes and municipality police.

 

In 2001 we transferred our services to the Municipality Emergency Management Agency as a specialized auxiliary corps by public law # 211 article XIII and public law # 261 voluntary services. Appointed by the Security Commissioner of the city of San Sebastian.

 

In the events of the 911( September 2001) in New York city the federal and states governments created legislative laws to involve chaplains in this kind of events, then our state government created the first initiative to include chaplains in the State Emergency Management Agency, they established the governor executive orders # OE-2003-22 and OE-2003-23  to include chaplains in the EMA system.


 

 

YEAR 2002


 

SmileIn 2002 the founders of the ministries Rev. Adolfo Lopez Lopez joined the State Police as a Chaplain appointed by the State Police Chief, endorsed by the Pentecostal Church Of God International Movement in Puerto Rico and Rev. Carmelo A. Lopez Perez joined the Puerto Rico National Guard and the United States Air Force Auxiliary as a Chaplain appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico and the Adjutant General, endorsed by the Pentecostal Christian Church International of Hartford Connecticut, both as Ordained Ministers for their denominations.

YEAR 2005


In 2005 Rev. Carmelo A. Lopez Perez was sent to Katrina scenario to help people as a Chaplain and Pastoral Psychologist Counselor with American Red Cross under the Homeland Security Presidential Directive # HSPD-8


YEAR 2006

In 2006 was created the governor executive order # OE-2006-02 for chaplains at EMA system, then this year the state government called Rev. Adolfo Lopez Lopez and Rev. Carmelo A. Lopez Perez to join the initiative as members and rectors of the first chaplaincy directorate named  “Commonwealth Of Puerto Rico Interfaith Chaplains Corps”, the Rev.Carmelo A. Lopez Perez run the office as the State Chaplain and Director and the Rev. Adolfo Lopez Lopez as Rector member appointed by the Municipality Affair Office Commissioner by governor authority.
